Dowd Scheffel is pleased to share another victory for its client @pizza, a U.K.-based pizza business, in a litigation involving claims of copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and trespass, this time before the D.C. Circuit. The D.C. Circuit upheld the District Court for the District of Columbia’s decision that U.S. copyright law cannot be imposed on our client @pizza as they operate only in the United Kingdom. The D.C. Circuit’s opinion can be read here. Additionally, Mr. Dowd was quoted in this article regarding this case.
