Dowd Scheffel Managing Partner Matthew J. Dowd conveyed his confidence in President Trump’s appointee for PTO Director, John Squires. In an article analyzing the varying views on the recent nomination, Mr. Dowd had this to say about Mr. Squires: “He’s not a pure litigator, he’s not a pure patent prosecutor. He’s a wonderful attorney, and he has great experience.”
Mr. Dowd also provided some balance on the current debate about litigation funders. As Mr. Dowd explained, “Whether it’s Fortress or a different litigation funder, I don’t believe that there’s anything evil or bad with that whole process.” The full article, as well as the rest of Mr. Dowd’s thoughts, can be found here.
