Dowd Scheffel submitted an Amicus Curiae brief with Laura Coruzzi on behalf of RegenexBio Inc. in the highly publicized Juno Therapeutics, Inc. v. Kite Pharma, Inc. case. The case concerns important issues for biotechnology inventions and whether the current law concerning the level of description required under the Federal Circuit's interpretation of the patent laws detrimentally impacts biotechnology innovation and investment in life saving technologies.
