Hughes’ thoughts of why he believes most en banc rehearings on patent cases are “a waste of time and a waste of money.” Mr. Dowd provided an attorney’s perspective on the matter and explained that clients frequently want to ensure that they have tried all of their appellate options so that all judges on the court have fully considered the arguments.
